Brief History: Lisa was born to a clan of powerful witches in Ireland. Her family emigrated to the United States during the early years of the potato famine. There, she married and had two daughters before her eventual embrace. As a powerful hedge wizard, she quickly took to the practice of Thaumaturgy. She had always displayed an affinity for Fire and surprised her teachers by spontaneously manifesting the Lure of Flames powers. She was already well on her way to learning Blood Magic, however, and has focused on that in her studies.
Lisa has continually monitored her descendants since her embrace. Her youngest daughter died of a wasting sickness before she could marry, but her oldest daughter married and had 9 children. Of these, only one was a girl. She was also the only one of the family to display any magical prowess. Since that time, Lisa has remained in contact with her descendants, affectionately known as Crazy Aunt Lis. The family simply sees her as the latest in a long line of people from a wealthy branch of the family who takes an interest in the magical studies of the family. No-one in her family has ever met her, that they are aware of at least, and she remains mysteriously apart from them. She sends letters to various relatives on a monthly basis, and now and then will spend a longer period of time encouraging one or more of the girls in the family to further their studies of magic.
Lisa is considered one of the best arcane researches in the Tremere. While she does not have the personal knowledge of the elders, she always seems to be able to get information that the Clan would otherwise never find. She achieves this through her family, and, more specifically, through her current protege.
Lisa has two distinct personalities she portrays to the world at large.
To Clan Tremere and those few Kindred whom she personally trusts, she uses the persona of a dedicated and stern business woman. She dresses in conservative designer suits and wears her hair back in a tight ponytail or bun. She carries a briefcase which contains various mystical supplies, papers, and a laptop. She is very self-assured and very direct in her manner of speech, but does not offer any more information than is absolutely necessary.
To the rest of the world, she uses a persona that can only be described as a Malkavian with a Fire fetish. Her long red hair is teased out to be fairly wild, sometimes streaked with mud or pulled into a mass of unruly pig-tails. She is normally barefoot and wears slightly tattered dresses. She carries a large wicker basket filled with flowers; some freshly picked, some withered beyond recognition. She speaks as if she were a very small child, and her general appearance would indicate this as well. She offers anyone she meets a flower from the basket and will blink unknowingly when any questions are asked of who and what she is. If anything, she will answer with a big smile and say, "I'm a Lisa!" If she is with others she trusts, she will often hide behind them or attempt to latch onto them like a scared child if someone is mean to her. She often fixates on something unrelated to her current task to throw others off the scent. If someone actually threatens harm to her, she attempts to redirect their attention elsewhere and use Obfuscate to disappear into any nearby shadows.
